HMMMM what could go wrong? Lol
Love the diversity of this channel. We don’t get that kind of terrain where I live. I love watching you guys shred 😎👍
@101rotarypower winter or summer--chainsaw--I mentioned the full windshield and soft top doors to them a while back--apparently it didnt take
Snorientteering! Two things, Chainsaw, and soft cab enclosure... Hey BRP...
That's what she said... 😂
@James Workman yup I'm in Ontario we are the same
Bring a chain saw next time. Small one will do you
Nicks face when Doug said close to the halfway point
Where did you guys ride this trail at? I've rode the bill Nichols up in Houghton and the keewana trail up towards Cooper harbor. I'm from Southgate just outside of Detroit
@SXSBlog.com ohh ok cool!! Thanks man! Love the channel! You guys want to do a cool trip, check out irons mi it's just outside of Baldwin. There's a campground that rents super nice cabins for a good price called best bear Lodge, Google it. Awesome place and the trails are freaking beautiful!! You have the little Manistee, Lincoln hills, a bunch of trails and also my favorite the tin cup route, all trails are 72" wide. That Tin cup trail is probably my favorite it's a 17 mile loop but it's got a little bit of EVERYTHING! I have a 19 xp 4 1000 ride command. That ride command is sweet.
This is called the old Mackinaw trail
may i suggest at chainsaw next time
Where is part 2??????
Am I the only one that wishes I knew exactly where they were to see how far they are from my house... And to see if I have ridden my sled thru that area
These trips can't be too hard of a challenge I mean you have a map and a compass you don't need much more than that to find out how to get to where you're going
Maybe need to take a chain saw with next time
Finally getting caught up... Another Entertaining video! Again like all other comments a chainsaw or folding bow saw and an axe are necessities on my machine. I was also cringing as Doug used slip joint pliers to adjust the track tensioner... Buy a cloth combo wrench roll or at least an adjustable wrench and this will set you up for easier repairs on the trail! I am use to 30 mile loops in the mountains only accessible by offroad vehicles so we are usually over prepared but that has never hurt us yey!
Maybe bring a chainsaw next time GUYS
You guys need to make this same trip but in the spring so you can eat at Clyde's. Best burger I've ever had. Right on the other side of that subway next to the shell you fueled up at In Saint Ignace, if you've never been there.
My eyes got a little squinty at the beginning of the video. I thought, "Are these dudes seriously depending on Harbor Freight for survival?"
The new Icon series of survival gear baby
Between the three of you you didn't think of like bring me a chainsaw
Rick could be the poster child for a Kleenex commercial
-8 is nothing
Blair witch project lmao 😆
When did tracks EVER work out for you guys? Ever(mud lyfe) say no more!? LOL! After watching the recovery would you guys do it without tracks, maybe with snow tires?
I disagree....the best thing on this trip is.....rick was able to go
This shows one of the disadvantages of having 4 tracks instead of a pair, I doubt a vehicle with the conventional track setup would have ever had that situation even happen, to bad there isn't any side by side or really any recreational in such a setup l....well excepts a incredibly expensive Howe&Howe thing BTW battery saws are quite good nowadays should look into that👌
You guys look like you go to the u p a lot and you don't have a saw🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍✌😎
Y'all need a Silky PocketBoy saw for stuff like this.
Outdoors 101. Anything pneumatic made from plastic or vinyl is a no no whilst frolicking in subzero temperatures. 101a. Foam bed rolls are warmer than air beds. Your body heat cant keep the air under you warm. That sucks loosing a track but could've happened in alot worse place. We twisted a track drive down in a big power line ravine one time. Took 5 hrs to get to the top and 3 more hrs to the trailer. Burnt up the winch, resorting to Harbor Frieght 2 ton power puller with 7 ft of cable. It's all good, my therapist says I'm on the road to a full recovery.
Sous and Doug making me cry right now. hahaha
It the woods with large expensive machines = a chainsaw is a bare minimum must-have tool ! Love the videos, keep them coming !
Why dont u guys have an 18v chain saw
But no chainsaw. Hahaha
Richard must be a bridge builder no power tool way to think with the tree as a tool to get over the problem no power tool's no problem
Not sure what the generator was intended for (other at times a boat anchor) but a quite generator with x-cords & laying on electric heating blankets would have done wonders while camping. Hey you're learning. Next time bring a chain saw too. Hope you don't give up. In about 2 years you'll forget ( hopefully Doug forgets) how bad thing went and will do it once again. You had me rolling mostly because I been in similar circumstances.
Shoulda brought a chainsaw
Watched these in reverse. I can say spoiler, didn’t get eaten by wolves. Just sayin’
The look on his face when you said minus eight.....lol...tell him....next trip in Thunder Bay Ontario.......have him check the weather here.
Remember to pack chainsaw
Rides like this are always the best!🤘
When I was y'alls age I wanted to do something like this but during the summer and travel along a river or around a lake fishing for our dinner in the evening. Great video guys
The cooler is going to stop things from freezing.. yep, I'm out. HAVE FUN FELLAS
They make a nice adjustable wrench that has a hammer head on it, that and a pair of vise grips is all the tools you need, oh an a saw just sayin!
why would you not bring a chainsaw to cut any tree's
Sous at the beginning of this video was not prepared for what was going to happen 😂🤣😂
List of additional items for next trip... 1. EFFIN" CHAINSAW!!!
Rickmav is ba, the pro is a tank, awesome dudes thanks for another great video guys
Y’all asked everyone a while back if u should use tracks for your next ride. I said no they’re unreliable..... when you gonna learn😂😂😅
note to self bring chain saw
I have enjoyed watching you guys for awhile now just good friends hanging out doing what they love but I have some criticism for y’all not that I’m any kind of expert this is just my opinion but since nick L and Douglas quit their jobs and since then something has been missing and kinda forced like when y’all used to travel you would have more content of the actual ride getting to the event and of y’all hanging out videos now seem kinda forced
And here's the Boasting Rich Kid's at it aGain! More money then Brain's eHH....!
Got chainsaw..?? does no good at home.
next time you make a camp fire try the log cabin method , makes more heat and bigger wood can be used . how about a saw ? Oh remind sous that bears rarely come threw the door of tent , sleep well .
One of the funniest vids yet.
This is a really good video. Great comedy, love watching rides like this. Or just rides in general with friends. Get outa the shop and stretch your legs.
Who forgot the chainsaw 😂
Great footage. Love UP riding. We do manistique every summer. Nothing like it. We run into a lot of downed trees and such too in some lesser travelled areas. Thinking of getting one of those harbor freight Bauer 20v chain saws to carry along.
You guys plan on having racetober in 2020 would be really interested in going only live about 3 hours from you guys
You boys are out there living it up. These videos are so cool. Bring more tools next time though 😎🇺🇸
let that be a lesson to you i always carry at least 2 hand saw when riding through wooded trails
Really enjoy watching you guys interact. Could not possibly be scripted. Keep the up the great content.
Could anyone help me out? (buying my first sxs probably this fall ) thinking a x3 64".. what would be the ideal trailer size for that unit ?? Ps yall crazy af 😂 it's way to cold to be sleeping in a tent.
@SXSBlog.com thank you !
7x12 open works good. 7x14 or 16 if you want room for more stuff.
I love every time a video drops! You guys are awesome 👍 BUT... there's videos trickling down with turbo talons... patiently waiting 🤨
Yeah unfortunately we got bumped because we didn't pre-order.
Why I will never own tracks again. nothing but problems.
The Can Am ones are good. If more tough versions of for Polaris came out again for heavier/more power SXSs I'd run em.
Pray for Ryan Newman
Tuned in from Grand rapids michigan 🤟😎
I picture Ostacruiser snickering and calling you all rookies, no saws. smh
Kinda surprised u didn't bring along a small chainsaw.... anytime trailing, have brought a small chainsaw.... came in handy, quite a few times. Also, not sure how u started the fire.... but a flare works great. Awesome video though.... love the trailing rides....
LITHIUM powered chain saw! ;)
You guys are way tougher than me lol. I can't believe you guys didn't even have a full windshield. I would need a full cab and heater.
Bro’s! The content just keeps getting better and better! Favorite channel on ALgone!
next winter I think you need to bring a chainsaw. LOL
Any plans to add a chainsaw mount ?
I’m just relieved to know I’m not the only one that freestyle sings what he’s doing.🤣
Its a lost art form
You boys need a couple of nice windshields and wipers for a journey like this! Would have made it a lot more enjoyable!
The different intros to each video are the best
Y'all didn't take a small chainsaw? Or a tow rope to pull the trees out of the way?
Got a strap, trees are mostly frozen into the ground.
Rick killed the outro! You guys are giving me motivation to do a camping trip to the bridge from St Helen with the SXS so keep these videos coming! I gotta learn how the pros camp 😉
That would be a good one!
Milwaukee M18 FUEL Hackzall with a wood blade - DONE!
What helmet is Rick wearing?
It is -40 in la create AB where I am from
Y’all should go orienteering with Cleetus cooper and James. Please please please make that happen
Not against it, those boys are busy though
Leo zooms in on Rick's running nose 😂
Just get sous a northstar ranger to shut him up
If Doug wasn’t part of sxsblog, you guys couldn’t function. He fixes everything!
We all used to work on our machines. We've now all forgotten how to lol
Maybe a good idea to bring some maxtraxx in the future to bridge over the downed trees?
SXSBlog.com I mean neither would I, but then again I live in Texas and will never own a set of tracks... sawzall and a winch but that would be super slow... cool you guys did it, can’t wait to see how you got the Pro XP burried!
Completely. Had basically no idea we'd be running into so many trees.
You really needed a Milwaukee 18v chainsaw.
You guys need to add some MaxTrax for your adventures like this. Love the content guys. Thanks a ton for sharing it all.
